Crossroads

To feel too much

or to not feel at all

I've felt both at different times

But now find myself at crossroads

Which road do I take?

Do I want to continue

With the passion, zest and emotion

Or do I want to go down

The path of practicality

In a state of mind free of emotion

With a constant void

I could never fill

An empty feeling

That makes me ill.
