All around me
I see people scared
Afraid of something 'unknown'
The same fear they shared
There's something glistening
Right in their eyes
That reflects their soul
Something way beyond the skies
Seeing their loyalty and devotion
Astounds me infinitely
And leaves me perplexed
I feel They have some sort of difficulties
Believing in something you haven't seen
In something you haven't experienced
Is a tough task, indeed
I feel that they have been silenced
By the occurrences they witnessed
The emotions they hold inside them
Yet, they still feel blessed!
Maybe there's a volcano of emotions
That's hidden out there
Waiting to burst, for
There could be great things that they bear
Loads that they hold
And carry discreetly
Feelings that they fold
Hidden down there incompletely
It's a gift to have such a quality
Of keeping faith no matter what
Of believing no matter what
That there's someone you can trust
You may be startled to hear
But that's this teenager's take on devotion

Beautifully expressed, loved it
Simply beautiful
